Alex's Birthday!

Alex wanted to go to JJ Jump this year to

celebrate his birthday with some friends!

We also roasted hot dogs and marshmellos

in the back yard.

PTL for great weather that day:)

A huge swing where each kid can decide how high they go.

A kid at heart!

Opening gifts-a big thank-you to all!

Happy Birthday to our first born son!

We are so blessed to have you in our family:)

At the Beach in a Yurt!

This was our 3rd year at Umqua Lighthouse State Park

near Reedsport, OR. It was our first year

inviting friends along and we had a blast!

Singing and playing on the porch!

Playing legos!

Of course we made s'mores!

The beach wasn't too windy and the kids even went in the water!

A snack!

Our second night was rainy so we did marshmellos in the microwave.

Is "a little messy" an understatement?

Our last day we took a great walk around Lake Marie.

Cute family if I do say so myself! Tee Hee Hee:)

The boys enjoyed our friend's dogs. (Works for me!)

Playing at the beachy side of the lake.

Throwing rocks in the water; a great sport!

Mother's Day With Moms and Friends

We so enjoyed our lunch at Mom's with the

Pettit family and their moms too!

Carol with her new mug!

Alex was giving a concert with his guitar after we ate.

Me and my two great boys!

Mom and her friend Vivian, who is my friend Janice's mom!

(We are so blessed that we all enjoy being friends:)

Janice's grown daughter with her husband; not a mom yet.

Me and my Mom-I am so blessed to have her!!!

I opened gifts at home later-my favorite candies!

Russian Class Makes Pelemini

Alex and Josh took a Russian class this year and part of the class

involved making Pelemini-a special Russian dumpling! Delicious:)

The Russian teacher explaining how

it is done!

Rolling out the dough

Putting in the meat mixture; then more dough is

put across the top of the mold.

Here is the finished product, ready to be

frozen and then cooked later!
(It can be boiled or fried or even added to soup.)
