Christmas 2012

Michael & I started Christmas morning with being startled from our
beds by a huge blast from a saxophone &
trombone combination!
Those boys and their little plans:)
Alex read the Christmas story from Luke and
Josh acted it out with the Playmobile
people nativity scene!
A tradition for our family.
Usually Dad reads, but Alex asked to, this year!

A nice red sweater for Mom, from her boys!

A big 'Hawks fan:)

We arrived at Pop-pop & Nana's around 1:30 pm.
Some were napping, but the kids enjoyed the new
fire truck tent!

Talking to Aunt Traci on the phone!

David loved his Spiderman toothbrush...he carried
it around and showed it to everyone!

Some fun puppets from Nana & Pop-pop.

Jay with his gift that was as big as he was! He
wanted to open it first, when it was his turn.
We started with Amy and went youngest
to oldest, taking turns!

Such cute, TX fans!

We had a nice ham dinner around 5:30 or so!

We had a wonderful time being together
and skyping with some of
the Texas cousins as well!
Happy New Year to all:)

Visit From the Cousins!

We so enjoyed having Jay & David
stay the night the last time they were here for
the weekend!
It was lots of fun watching all the boys interact.
They played cars, Just Dance on the Wii & generally
had a super time together.
Here are the 4 boys in the mini-van:)

Me and my pretty purple niece!!!

We were watching videos of the boys! Amy liked
it as much as I did:)

Smiles and Cries: We love it all!

Visit to Ritzville in Sept!

We enjoyed watching the Labor Day Parade
in downtown Ritzville!
Of course the highlight for the boys was picking
up candy that was thrown from those
in the parade:)
We went home with a huge bag full!

It was a super nice day and we got the whole tour
of the town and family business from
Matt, as he drove us around in the
afternoon and showed us the area.
We loved seeing Mindy's family home and
staying/eating there with her family.
A lovely time with everyone and
wonderful food too!!

A little backyard football and playing in the yard/driveway.

We made it to the fair and rodeo later in the day
after naptime.....very fun to see all
the animals, crafts, photos, produce and more!

Pacific Science Center

We had a great day kayaking at the Pacific Science Center!
All 4 boys waited in line and had a turn!
I wish you could see the video of Jay dancing to the music
that was playing while we were waiting.
I can't seem to get any of my videos to upload:(
David was busy coloring with chalk while waiting in line,
so everyone was happy!
I think this was the highlight for the big boys and the little ones too:)

Bubbles were a big hit too!  We were so thankful for the
nice sunny weather.

David loved the chalk and at one point had the whole
bowl of it in his hands, walking all around
everywhere carrying it and dancing to the music!

A great fun day and we all got in for free because
we have a membership to our science museum
here at home-OMSI! Can't wait to try it again
another day while visiting in Seattle:)

Picnic and Baptism

Josh went first in the cold water!

It was a special time to see Michael being able to
baptize both of our boys with Pastor Frank:)

A big thanks to Karen for the photos!

We had a great potluck picnic and softball game as well!

Alex about to go in?

Another guy, Seth, was also baptized by Pastor Frank and his
good friend Nolan, who helped bring him to Christ.
(Nolan is Lindsey's husband.)
