Soccer Season!

Both boys are playing soccer this season and

really enjoying it!

Josh has practice every Monday night

and then a game on Wednesday night!

His friend Connor is on his team this year.

At the last practice his coach said, "Josh, you

are just fierce!" (A very determined

player to say the least!)

Alex has the same coach that he did last year,

and also the same assistant coach (Dad)! About

half of the team is from last year as well

so it was nice to know a lot of the kids

already when they started. He has practice

every Monday night and most Wednesday

nights also, although he has had a few games

on Wednesday nights recently. Typically

his games are on Saturdays!

Poppop and Nana have been the biggest

fans for both the boys! We so appreciate

their support as they faithfully come

to the games to see both boys play!!!

We are thankful that they are close by

for the time being:)

Seattle Zoo/Visiting Family

A second weekend in Seattle area for us!

We so enjoyed staying at the Olson Inn-the beds,

food, and company are wonderful!!

Thanks so much to Aunt JoAnn and

Uncle Paul for letting us stay with them.

We enjoyed a full day of activity on Saturday with Matt, Mindy

and Jay; seeing the Seattle Zoo, walking around

Bellevue, and eating ice cream in Fremont.

We always enjoy visiting their church as well!

Jay skipped his afternoon nap on Saturday. We could
tell he was tired, but he did a great job of keeping
up with everyone and he never got cranky!

The komoto dragons are a favorite for the boys

to see at the Seattle zoo.

There is a fun play area where the boys climbed

this tree and came down the

slide that was in the middle!

Mindy made us a wonderful picnic lunch that we all enjoyed before

heading out to see all the animals. Matt

did a great job navigating so that we saw all the animals!

We so appreciated spending great time with family this weekend!
